This video was taken by Dennis Howlett on a recent trip to GJ. GJ was one of the first firms of Chartered Accountants to use online accounting systems in the UK.

We recognised that mobile workers and companies coming to the UK needed increasing flexibility in their business systems. For example, business coming to the UK can share the same accounting system as their overseas subsidiaries, but with central control at head office level.

Since the online accounting system works in a web browser there is no software to install and users can be added as head office require. For Excel junkies (me included) there is the added bonus of a superb Excel addin for easy integration between Excel and the online accounting system. It is no surprise given the ease of deployment that international organisations can simplify their processes and achieve significant cost savings.
